well, I drive my truck around and guys ask if it has the 7.3. so I say yes it does. the most common reply is oh yeah my 96 has that same motor. so then I say oh yeah this is it the older model engine. then they presets to tell me that all 7.3s are the same and all mechanical and non electronic. 
at this point I just walk away....
