I replaced my FSV in 2002, and I actually used one that was meant for a plastic-line system. The rubber hoses BARELY fit on the nipples (wrestling them on while getting bathed in diesel fuel was NOT fun ), and between the tight fit and the hose clamps, they've been holding strong for the last 8 years no leaks whatsoever...wouldn't want to be you when your FSV takes a ****......
if the plastic line FSV already costs $150.....your rubber hose FSV has got to be positively ungodly on the pricing.
