Just finished a 3500km tour of southern and south eastern BC. Camping, off roading, exploring...all of it. Lots of mountain passes and mountain trails. Fan clutch came on at the first major mountain pass and wouldn't let go until I got closer to vancouver on the way home. Didn't matter if it was uphill or downhill, but getting closer to sea level seemed to do the trick, though I don't yet know why. Got back and started researching how to bend the factory spring to tweak the engagement temperature...
