6.5 Detroit 1994 GMC Sierra runs smooth then gets a little rough then smoothes out again

Hi there guys I finally got the truck goin, it runs good, but then it will run a bit rough acts like it wants to die. Has had some bad fuel in it for some time I filled it up and added some cleaner could it be a low pressure lift pump? Still runnin the stock pump. Thank you

Great you got her going, don`t have a clue about the General Motor truck engines. Sounds maybe like air in the fuel system.

If it sat with old/bad fuel in it for a while, your injector pump may still be sticky inside. You may have to drive the truck for a while in order to free the pump up again. I said that because it sounds like you haven't driven it very much since you put the fresh fuel and cleaner in the tank.
