when i converted my dually into 4wd i found 5/8 plate steel and cut me out some spacers to make up for the 4wd pressed in place.

you have to remove thr rivets from thar core support mount and install bolts. There is alot you can do ahead of time to help speed the process when the time comes. I have the front mounts installed and drilled, The nitches cut out except the very last little bit to allow the swap bar to stay till I ripped out the TTb stuff.

Ok, talked to the guy again and got pictures, it's definitely a straight axle. It's also a single cab F350 truck. So now I just have to figure out what order to do everything in, and what rivets and holes to drill out for the swap.

So is the parts truck a 4x4 dually or are you gonna have to find some dually hubs for the front end? because trust me.... NOT EASY TO FIND. done tried lol, I looked and looked when I had my 86 ton dually 4x4

heres my old 4x4 dually those hubs under those simulators... very scarce. also ifyour makin a 4x4 dually. get some 10 lug adapters and run 19.5's

YUP!!!!!!!! dana 60 i ton 4x4 dually,,and 1 ton 4x4 single wheel rear,,are diff front hubs,rotors,etc..................

So my 2wd front hubs won't bolt onto the 60? Crap... I didn't know they were different. Guess I gotta look for those now, too.

Thanks for that... I thought that the bricks had different frames than the OBS's though...?

I put the schackles in the rear beacause I read the FAQ's section on the fullsize bronco site and it made sense that when you hit a bump going forward the momentum of the vehicle and the movement of the axle is going rearward just like the rear axle does.
