I have my extended cab of anyone wants to ride along. There will be 2 of us in the truck already. The ext cab gets a bit tight after a while though.

@Dirtleg looking at the route where @tjsea and I were planning to meet will put our fuel window somewhere around Roanoke. I was looking at Troutville just above Roanoke. It’s been several years since I’ve been to that part of the country. Any suggestions for convenient fuel and food? It will have been about 3 hours since we stopped (4 hours total) traveling and about half way mileage wise so we will be ready for a stretch I’m sure.
@tjsea we will have to leave pretty early to make it by 3pm. I’m game but the wife may not be.
We can discuss further. If @no mufflers is going to join us not sure when he’d get down here. I’m planning to be hitched and packed Friday afternoon so anything is possible.

Here is the route we are looking at with notional stops. Notional in the sense that we likely will not make all of them but we know where they are if we need them.

im going to plan to join the convoy. with the truck dilemma and other stuff going on the derby plans will be canceled. im going to talk with the others and if one wants to ride with one of yall we can work something out.
i can leave any time. it generally is around 2am so i can meet everyone at a decent time.

if i remember im about 400 miles or 6 hrs from alex. i can get a solid 350 miles on a tank, maybe could get 400 not sure.

I'm really game for any time. As long as we get to the campground and can set up before dark I'll be happy. I usually plan a little earlier just in case stuff comes up then we are still good.

What time are people planning on rolling in Saturday? Trying to figure out how best to plan my trip over. I'm only about 2 hours out and will gladly lend unskilled hands for set up if I get there while that's going on. Also, I should have my CB hooked up by then if I can figure out a good place to stick it.
Well if you get to Alex at 8, that puts you at our meeting spot around 9. Roanoke - ish by around noon. Figure an hour for lunch, I think we are still about 4 hours out so that would put us in the campground around 5 depending on other stops.

8 hr trip for me hoping to get there by 3, with 2 little kids and having to stop to pick the oldest in Dayton I'm sure I will be running late! Lol

technically it got the muffler delete mod like first day i got it lol. it does still have what the factory would call a resonator tho .
i gotta keep it a little respectable.. when im at a condo complex with my 9' plow boosting a 1' of snow up hill at 3am.. i know im appreciated.

travis is working night shift on friday. he is filling in for his boss so he cant leave work until 1:30 am. that would push our departure time back to maybe 2:30 but probably 3:00 am
