I picked up a set of factory 95 Alcoa alluminum rims for the wifes 95 stroke but im kinda wanting to put them on my 84 with a dana 44hd (I think) and a dana 70 rear. Will they work?

I realize that rims from a dana 70 wont go onto the newer sterling 10.25 due to the slightly larger hub diameter on the sterling. But im thinking the sterling rims should work on the dana 70, there will just be a tiny space between the hub and the rim. Anyone try it?

If they don't have tires on them yet, do you mind weighing one of the wheels, please?

They do have some worn 265 85's on em and I will be pulling them in the spring for some BFG all terrains...I also would like to know what they weigh compared to steel.
Good to hear they will be fine, can't wait till they are on. I"ll post a pic, won't be for a little while however.

I have always liked those wheels. They just look clean and they fit they style of the pickups. I would take a new set of those over fancy overdone aftermarket wheels any day.

If I end up putting them on the stroke, I will be taking my stock rims on the 84 which are white and greasy:puke:, and sand blasting them and paintem flat black to match the bumpers and headache rack I will be putting on. That should look kind of bad ass I think

No. Five spoke Alcoas. They look really good to. They were on it when bought it and I'll be keeping it that way.
