Okay folks,

Please take a look at these pics and tell me what size nut is missing from the stud that holds my turbo to the pedistal. I have developed one hell of an oil leak over the past week or so and I'm hoping this is it. I can figure it out through trial and error, but hopefully someone has one handy that they can get to. Metric? SAE? Thanks so much in advance.

So that will be a 3/8x24 threads fine. The 3/8x16 course thread is the other choice. Its a special hardened nut material. You wont find it at home depot. Find a nut and bolt store for the proper nut. Tell them you want an aircraft nut. They are hard and usually a 12 point hex.

Just in case it fell off during normal operation look at the base of the turbo or where it goes through the valley pan.
I have one of these also, 088's and those nuts like to land in that area, or back by the "oil drain".
(Been working with mine lately.)
