Lets start by saying I'm 2200 miles away from my truck, just looking for a little help or pointers before I get home.
Got a call the other night from the landlords saying my horn was going off. They tried locking and unlocking the doors with the remote but it didn't help, so they ended up disconnecting the batteries. There is no alarm system.
Anyone else ever had this problem? What would cause it? Maybe the in park sensor? But with the key not in the on position, I wouldn't think that system would be functional.

It's an 04 5.9 auto with 75k

Thanks for any input. I'll try to dig around when I get home to it next week.

There is a device under the steering wheel called a clock spring. It is basically a coil of wire that looks like a clockspring would that keeps the airbag and hron attached to the rest of the wiring. It sounds as though yours may be bad. try taking the plastic off the column and unplug it. If that stops it you will most likely have to change it. If that doesnt stop it you will need to look elsewhere.
Good Luck
