ATS 088 question
I think the chirp he is talking about is fast and consistant with the speed of the turbo. If I understand this correctly, it is the same sound I hear from a powerstroke with a big straight pipe exhaust. It's almost like you can hear the exhaust gas get chopped by the turbine. I just got mine on the other day. I was looking for an excuse the dig out the welder and fab up some brackets. The pump draws very low amperage, so I found a wire that was hot with key on that wasn't being used near the starter selinoid. Great investment, saves on the starter. Block...- Bunookana

WTB a/c compressor
Just fyi, you can get a compressor, dryer, oil, oriface tube, and all new seals for $220 on ebay. That is for a brand new pump with 12month/12k mile warranty. I just got one to put in my truck. Thier customer service is great. I think the company name was buyautoparts.com- Bunookana

Fuel tank plumbing
I have been toying with the thought of putting a tank/tool box in the bed. With everything I need to transfer and pre-filter the WVO into the tank in the toolbox. Weekend accomplishments
So, I got alot of work done on the ol'IDI over the weekend and I gotta say. It feels like a brand new truck. I had beat up old bucket seat setup that hurt my back. Solid front alxe with coils?
Thanks for the input guys. I am even considering using coils, stock radius arms, and D44 IFS, just like a bronco. I don't do anything serious. I just need 4x4, so that might be the cheapest option.- Bunookana

If I was to swap a solid front axle into a 4x2 to make it a 4x4, would it be worth the hassle to use the original coils or should I go ahead and put in leaf springs.
