    trust me dave knows what he's talking about, the 7.3L is a "trrow away block" you can't bore it, sleeves will slip out, rebuild the 6.9L you'll be much happier, bore it out to a 7.0L and you'll have what you want+, I hate to see you waste your money just to have something go to crap after 30K...

    I wouldn't even waste my time rebuilding a 7.3L, its a throwaway block, don't do sleeves, can gaurantee you'll never see 100k miles out of that block, you want to rebuild a block, an 86 6.9L is the block for you, put the money into that, go over to ford-trucks.com and enter the pre-powerstrokes...

    Question about DB2 pump

    So i read up there are three soleinoids, one is the cold advance internal, and it says it ups the timing +6BTDC, what if you connected a switch to it so it was always on eliminating the need to rotate the pump? Or is this hard on the pump?
