    I have an 86 f250 6.9 that all of the sudden wont crank. We have full battery but no crank. It is a manual tranny but i bypassed the clutch safety and still no crank. I cant sseem to figure it out. Please help.

    My 91 7.3 IDI is decently hard to start in sub 20 degree temps. I plug it in but it still doesn't start easily. It will start on the first try bit 2 sec later it abruptly dies.     Well I pulled every injector and did find one oring that was a little suspect. I resealed it. Now the truck is running again. We did also change the HPOP standpipes along with changing the dummy plugs (AGAIN). So well see what happens. I'll keep y'all posted

    No just overpowering smell. It's caused us to retighten the injectors and they were not loose, but not torqued to spec. That is, they needed one to two more turns but ey weren't physically loose. It's truck truly is a conundrum!

    2005 6.0 Just did all injectors and glow plugs. Worked air out of high pressure oil rail with 12 0-60 wot runs as per for TSB. now, 2 weeks later it is dying intermittently and it just took 4 bouts of serious cranking to start. ( very similar to trying to start it right after injectors.)...
