ok, so after making a bunch of calls to summit, diamond eye, browsing ebay some more, talking to justin at IDI PERFORMANCE, and having to rewire the glow plug harness on my engine, i finally decided to just pay the 265 for the upgraded down pipe that R&D sells. i debated for a few days...- F-SERI-ouS

so the down pipe on my 94 idi is done, its got some holes in it that make it not worth patching up. I have tried to fine another down pipe for it in junk yards and on ebay with no luck, I do however keep finding down pipes for the powerstroke 7.3s, and to me they look like the idi down pipe. my...- F-SERI-ouS

ZF6 fluid alternative to ATF
ok, so I am getting ready to put my rebuilt engine back into my truck, a 94 350 idi with the zf-5. rear tank does not work
i do not have the auto/lock hubs i just have these; the pliers will not work, i think there is some other funky way of disengaging them? or am i wrong??? can i just buy some warn hubs and install those?- F-SERI-ouS

icanfixall, i will start with the tank, and see if the suction head is broke off, since the gauge reads exactly 1/4 tank. depending on whether the other tank has less or more fuel, the needle will go up or down and settle at 1/4. hopefully i do not have to pay for an expensive FTSV. but i...- F-SERI-ouS

So where do you get a descent injection pump at ?
what he^^^ said! i have the moose jr. and my truck runs excellent. i was having issues before with losing pressure, and this pump not only fixed that, but i got a noticable "seat of the pants" performance improvement, not to mention i can still get 18+ mpg at a thrift 75mph.- F-SERI-ouS

rear tank does not work
Gentleman, So i have had no luck figuring this out. If i switch to the rear tank on my truck, it runs for about 30 seconds and then dies. of course i did not know this at first. i am not getting fuel out of it, and there is plenty of fuel in there. anyone have any ideas on the systems on...- F-SERI-ouS

well i would definitely love to come, money however is an issue. i just bought a moose jr. pump and bb injectors from agnem i think, and the truck drives excellent! i would love to drive her up there and spend some time with other enthusiasts, but saving up for the pump and injectors pretty well...- F-SERI-ouS

inoperable overhead compass/gauge set
my moms 01 excursion has the overhead console/gauge set and it just stopped working . . . i checked the fuses, and they are all good. i do not wanna start taking stuff apart just yet. any ideas on how to fix it, i hear this is a common problem, but i cannot find a fix?- F-SERI-ouS

2003 F250 6.0 vibration problems
what he ^^^^ said. moreover, if you took it in to the stealership and it was not shaking prior, and now it is, it should definitely be them paying for any balancing or extra work to fix the vibration. keep us posted, once you get it fixed.- F-SERI-ouS

7.3 Cylinder Heads the same?
The 5 times torque for the studs was for the 3 times the Ford Service Manual has (I think around 65 ft-lbs, 85 ft-lbs, and then 100 ft-lbs) Then the 4th time for the ARP torque of 125 ft-lbs. then the 5th time to one last time keep the torque wrench at 125 and go back through the sequence to...- F-SERI-ouS

i have an '08 SD with a complete air bag set up. i will try and post some pictures later. i do not think that you will have a change in ride quality unless you do a 4-link rear. this is because if you just add air springs to the leafs, you will still have the leaf-sprung suspension when the air...- F-SERI-ouS
