Hi guys , been awhile since i last posted about my truck , but i traced my problem down to the injection pump being bad from setting for to long . a local injection shop helped me diagnose it . i ran across a re-manufactured pump on ebay item #181101996164 IHC / STANADYNE FUEL PUMP 90-91 FORD 7.3L# DB2-4826LVFC . it says its for a 90-91 7.3 what would be the difference between it and a 94 pump ? my truck is non-turbo 7.3

the 6.9l injection pumps were different than 7.3l, but so long as its a 7.3l you are good to go!

Any ford idi pump will work. Only real difference being the auto linkage whether it be vrv (c6), filp sensor (e4od) or none (standard trans). The external fuel screw won't be a noticable difference between pumps, 6.9 have none which is the same as the 7.3 adjusted all the way out.

Seriously if it's a good deal and he will stand by it, get it and bolt it in!

Otherwise talk to Mel Agnem at Conestogadiesel.com or Typ4 and get one from one of those two guys...plain and simple.

It's a piece of cake to swap it out, just DO NOT remove the IP timing gear cover take the pump off of the cover not the cover off the engine!!!!!

I have not seen what this pump your looking at costs. Please be aware of the horrible ebay sellers that claim to be the cheapest on the web. They are not. Uhaul was the lowest cost pumps a few years back. Some membersa here but more than 12 at a time too. Please do what you are doing now. Ask before spending money. We on this forum know where the best deals are for the money. Both Mel and Russ do the best work.
