    Battery charging

    What are you guys using for battery maintenance? I have been through 2 Schumacher's in 2 years. I like to keep my mower battery and at least one spare vehicle on a trickle charge but these modern Schumacher's stop working after the warranty is out.

    Brake Controller question

    Never towed more than a single axle non braked trailer, but that's about to change! Truck came with the controller in the pic but its disconnected. Wires cut and taped. So my question is what kind of controller setup is this?

    Tail lights out

    I can't figure this out. Both turn signals work at the rear but I have no tail lights. Checked the filaments on the bulbs and I checked fuses. Just can't figure it out.:dunno

    1983 over 8500lbs brake booster with dual piston. Does it even exist?

    Having trouble trying to track down a power brake booster for an 83 over 8500lbs with dual pistons. Pulling my hair out!!:mad: Tried Cardone. Rockauto and all the usuall local stores. Does it even exist now?

    Weird starting problem this morning

    Ignition on, 8 second glow plug,depressed clutch,turned key...........Dead. No click. Looked underneath and checked starter wiring and all seemed fine. Got back in, 5 second glow, depressed clutch and bang, started right up. Stopped and started a couple of times after that with no problem. Weird!

    Horn probles

    I made a short video to ask about a horn problem. There are three horns on this truck but only oe has ever worked directly from the relay. The other two will work from a direct feed from the battery but not from the relay. Any idea why that would be? Electric are not my strong point BTW...

    rear lift options?

    1983 F250 6.9 IDI. Looking to lift the rear maybe one or two inches to compensate for a constant 2'300 lbs load in the bed. Not looking to spending a lot of money. I thought about adding Monroe load adjusting shocks but apparently they are only good for 1,200lbs. I just want it to look level...

    This is a complete drop in from Jasper which included the fuel system. The fuel system is out of warranty. Only has 9000 miles on it. Has two new batteries and a new set of Beru (Manual) GP's Engine starts great from cold but after trying to restart it on a warm engine it starts and stumbles...

    Cracked Block

    Just replaced my water pump and noticed a leak at the block heater. Ive never used the heater but the PO might have as I discovered a 4 inch hairline crack! We cleaned the area and dried it with compressed air and saw coolant sweating through the crack. Is there a fix for this without going down...
