Guys I need some info. My 94 idi factory turbo has developed knock at 270000 miles. I have a chance to buy a 91 7.3 non turbo with 130000 on it for a great price. Question is can I put my factory turbo on this engine without to much trouble.- torinoracer29

If your having problems now it is only a matter of time before it is done, but get the bigger cooler so when you replace the trans you have the right one. Any temp over 200 is not good for an e4od for a period of time. you probably have a valve body plugged up or your factory cooler and radiator...- torinoracer29

fuel leak
Well as it turns out it is the inner seal leaking from the pump. The good news is the company I bought it from is standing behind their pump and sending me a new one (freshly rebuilt). So hopefully my problems will be done along with typ4's fuel return kit. Thanks to all for the advice and idea's.- torinoracer29

Ok guys I have been battleing a fuel leak that I could not seem to locate and after spending a couple hours today I can see fuel leaking from the bottom of my injector pump towards the mounting bolts on the back of the pump. Take your trans to Valley Transmission in South Bend, IN. Should be pretty close to you.I just blew my trans 2 weeks ago on the way to PA. Well I did stop what I was doing as fast as I could but by that time it was already to late, she was already puking. The torque converter was new, the od light was not flashing, the temp climbed up to 250 degrees within ten miles and then puked trans fluid out the vent on top and out the front. My truck is getting horrible fuel mileage and idleing really rough. I am pretty sure that I need to change the injectors as they have 186000 miles on the original ones. Leaking Injector Line
As it turns out my ford dealer got me the line overnight for $33.71 out the door. I quess it helps to have a ford racecar that your dealer likes. That was pretty painless since none of the junkyards by me have any idi parts.;Sweet- torinoracer29

Well I just took the line off again for further inspection and found a hairline crack at the base of the flare where the nut seats against the flare. I am pretty sure it is the line. I used a mirror to look at it and I can see it pissing on the bottom side of the nut. I do have the clamps on it for vibration.- torinoracer29
