I've never seen one before either. I know they were kind of rare even when they were being built. There just wasn't that many of them compared to the Fords.
Well, now I know.... and knowing is half the battle....but now that I know, I'll probably see one on my FedEx adventures.

Swapped from a non tilt steering column to a tilt steering column. Realized there isn’t much difference between the two columns.

Finally managed to wrestle the bottom bolt off a serpentine belt 7.3 IDI. I spent a few days with my grandparents so I raided my 91 y.o. grandfather's toolboxes for tools to get that danged bolt off and prep to replace ball joints on the Dana 50 TTB.

Anyone replace the serpentine belt vacuum pump bottom bolt with a stud? Edit: I plan to replace the bottom bolt with a bolt with a larger head on it.

A lot of driving, a lot of fuel burned. Epic to say the least. New place, will take a while to set up . New shop, to build. Etc.

Well I just had to go rescue the 22 year old kid that I work with I had to pull his 200 Durango out of some mud. All I could think was "we're in a year+ long drought and you just HAD to find some mud? He was stuck out at the City Pond (lake by name only). When I got there, I told him "NEVER, NEVER drive where there's cattails growing. It may be dry enough to walk on, but there's water underneath. They grow where it's usually wet." On the plus side, the only time I felt any tug was when I was slipping the clutch to tighten up the chain. After I let out the clutch, I couldn't feel anything at all. He was stuck up to the frame. Apparently a Durango sunk to it's frame doesn't mean much to a IDI in 4lo.

You probably have "Superhero" status with that kid now.

Quite possibly. He admitted that he got stuck, put it in 4X4, and got himself out. Then he thought he was a bad (donkey) so he went back through the mud again. He also admitted that it didn't take him very long to decide that he wasn't. The part that REALLY got to me was that he did all of this with his 7 1/2 month pregnant girlfriend along. True it was "only) 95*, but she should not have been there! After he called, I didn't know how long they'd been there so I grabbed some bottles of water out of my refrigerator and took them along too. Neither one wanted one, but at least I offered.

Not today, but Saturday, both my dad and I used both of our trucks to get gravel. He grabbed 1 yard of 3/4 minus, I grabbed 1 yard, then a second load of 2 yards. Holy cow that second one was a lot of weight. Glad I have air bags.

On another note, I filled up my rear tank on Tuesday, since my turbo install I've gone from 11mpg to 13.5mpg

I didn't take any pictures, but today was rescue #2 of the week. I was walking home from the grocery store and there was a Late90's-early2000s style Grand Cherokee sitting at the stop sign that's about 100' from my driveway. It didn't move so I asked the driver if he was having trouble. When he said that he was, I offered to tow it back to his house which was about 3 blocks away. He thanked me and said that he thought me old diesel ran pretty good. i thanked him and after he mentioned that he's a Ford guy, there was a 30 minute conversation afterward.
