Are they like the 91 down trucks where there's a little tiny nub on the switch you press to release the knob?

FINALLY GOT IT OFF! I just pulled hard. Screw the stupid pushy-clip thingy. But for some reason even after I just installed the new pigtail and switch, my headlights won't go on. High beams work, headlights are still MIA. When replacing the pigtail I transferred one wire over at a time, and I double checked, so I know it's good.

So you think the problem could be a faulty new Switch?

"new" these days may not mean "good"
if the problem is still there after the swap out, you missed something in the rewire work.
if the problem goes away, the problem is in the switch.
that's about as definitive as you can get without extensive contemplation.

I'm going to jump in for a second...

How are the 92+ Trucks wired? I had an issue once with my floor dimmer switch that caused my lights to go COMPLETELY out, not just switch from low to hi.

Could there possibly be an issue in the multifunction switch? I realize wiggling the light switch used to work but I'd think it worth considering...

Ok... So tried the old switch, still no headlights. New switch back in, still no headlights. Checked fuse and it looks good. Anybody got anything else? Lol high beams, running lamps, etc. All still work. Just the freaking headlights.

Just tried the multimeter with ground on battery negative and stuck the positive in all three spots on both of the headlight connectors. No power to them. I feel like I'm missing something obvious. I have the bronco graveyard wiring kit on the way so that should fix it right?

No because the relay kit uses the existing wires as a signal to feed the relays.

Did you ever check the multifunction switch that does the high beam switching?
