Regardless of why, say someone wanted to run a remote mount filter from the oil cooler on a regular 7.3. Is the only remote mount that's made for 1 1/2-16 threads really these 300$ billet creations I'm seeing online? They don't even use the same threads for the filter that would be remote mounted?.. either I'm failing Google for the day or this isn't a readily available item for this thread size.

This is the cheapest one I've found at 280, but you can't even keep the same filter and the ones you can switch to are all smaller.

Now that you can get the massive donaldson filter for 30$ on Amazon prime, I figured for people who don't want to shave the cross member off to get it to fit and hang so low there might be a cheap remote mount to put it somewhere else for someone who wants better filtration but doesn't wanna risk smashing it or building a bypass system. But with how expensive this is both are better options lol.

http://www.shop.perma-cool.com/2840-Spin-On-Adapter-1-1-2-16-thread-2840.htm

I found this for about 40$...

Now I just need to find a single filter base that uses 1 1/2-16 for its threads and by some braided hose and this would be easy. I just don't know if that adapter I found is the right diameter yet.

That's the one I used.The problem is,you still need a filter mount.
That's where it gets pricey (if you want to use oem threads).

This is all I wanted for running a very cost effective aux oil cooler:

But no.They can't make one of those. That would be too easy.:D
