I am working on installing a ats 093 kit onto a 89 ford f250 the truck in the signature.
It was rebuilt and has the 3'' dp v band connection on it.
I am fighting the oil mount mainly. first of all I cannot get it tight to the intake cdr bolt holes. It is tight to the back of the intake but has 1/4'' gap between the oil drain and the threaded mount holes. Also I am fighting trying to get the turbo to sit flush on the oil drain. the side closest to the intake is good but the other side doesn't want to sit flush. I am using bolts instead of the studs that were in it because it was recommended to me to use the bolts instead.
I would normally take my sweet time but i need this truck up and running because the hope is to have it going for a local dyno day. This thing has kicked my but so if anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Do you have the up pipe already bolted solid and tight? If so loosen it up to allow movement.

i can try and get pictures quick.
yes i have clocked the cold side. i didn't know you could clock the hot side. up pipe is bolted on but the wye and crossover are ridiculously loose.
my main worry is why the heck is the oil drain not touching the intake like everyone else seems to have never had a problem with?

my guess is that youre hitting something on the hot side.
I installed mine with the housings just loose enough to spin.
these rebuilders do it on a bench and can no way get it perfect for your application.
its not fun tightening them.

pull the up pipe Y off, and get the turbo installed first.
what is that plate in pic #4?
also you should be installing with the cold side in about the right location.
are you going innercooled?

Trans ear in the way? Did you remove the studs from the manifold?

When I installed mine, it was a pita; basically because I'd never approached such a task. What worked for me, since a lot of things seemed to not fit, was starting all bolts, and leaving them all loose; tightening them down together from there. The overall installation doesn't have much play.

Warning.
the 5/16 threads in the intake are aluminum...
too much torque, and youre gonna be pissed.

Just a shot in the dark here, did you remember to remove the hoist attachment "loop" on the passenger side rear of intake manifold? This needs to be removed when installing factory ATS093 turbo.

with mine, I had the up pipe bolted to the exhaust housing.
I also had the pedestal bolted tight.
both housings were snug to where I could rotate them.
and it went on, it wasn't easy, but it wasn't hard.

try installing it without the Y,
that's where I had the hardest time.
