I also had the pedestal bolted tight.
both housings were snug to where I could rotate them.

did you have the pedestal bolted to the turbo assembly?
and how do you mean you could rotate them with them snug?

I think there is a grommet in the intake for the non turbo CDR. I agree with IDIoit, start installation minus "Y" pipe with all fasteners finger tight. Is it possible the exhaust manifold was changed at some point and this one is for a different application? I installed down pipe last.

yes I had the pedestal bolted to the center section of the turbo.
I also had the up pipe bolted to the exhaust housing.


the valley pan gets the grommet.
the intake gets an o-ring

I had the bolts on both housings just snug enough to where I can rotate it with a bit of force.
just snug enough to where it wont move on its own, but you can by hand.

also want to mention that the 093 is gated, you want the actuator rod pretty even with the gate when its all said and done.

turbo was just rebuilt so it is possible the exhaust housing is slightly off.
only the elbow is on now now down pipe.
I doubt it because I changed the factory injectors and pulled hte factory studs out of the manifolds. everything looks factory and on the crossover and y bolts up nicely.

alright guys i got it close thanks to your help. I had left the gromet on the back side of the intake, that and the exhaust housing of the turbo was clocked slightly off. I am working on getting it correct now.

Well thanks guys for all the help
today I put down 225.9 to the wheels and 410-423 tq They only gave hp on the dyno sheets so I had to calculate it off ruff guestamites of 28-2900 rpms
She ran great and 20% load
