WTB or RENT 6.9/7.3 freeze plug install tool

Hello, I'm in need of the IDI freeze plug install tool. I'd be willing to pay shipping, give a deposit and my contact info if someone was willing to let me rent/borrow theirs. I'll buy one if need be(if reasonably priced).
I've been searching the internet for this tool and am left very empty handed....
I'm desperate and motivated to get new freeze plugs put in my 7.3 so I can get my truck up and running asap. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. Is your engine out of the truck or van? If not you can't replace all 7 freeze plugs. Too many things in the way. Just a note about plugs. NEVER ever buy aftermarket plugs. The original plugs are stainless steel and with very well. I had a shop install brass plugs and one popped out in less than 2 miles. Cost me nearly $300.00 for a repair. The next one let go at 5200 miles and cost me an engine. So word to the wise. Don't cheap out with aftermarket. The original plugs come in a pack of 7 and are very cheap for what they do. They also are machined so they cut into the block lip and hold better. The special tool is very important when installing these plugs. They are designed to do the job correctly. A socket or punch just can't do the job correctly. A punch was used on my brass plugs. No wonder they fell out.

icanfixall- motor *** just pulled from donor truck last weekend in order to get ready for motor and trans swap. Upon inspection I found the right freeze behind trans adapter had been leaking. Plus one of the plugs behind oil cooler is one of the temporary rubber plugs. I want to replace all 7 the proper way and be done with it. After reading about your situation and a couple others, I have zero interest in taking chances.

riotwarrior- if I knew my clutch would hold together climbing the pass I'd love to take a trip to Oroville. Dang clutch slips in 3rd and 4th on flat ground if I try to throttle up too quickly. 2nd tries on hills occasionally.
