FYI, trans dipstick info

for those of you who bought a turbo kit and did not get the e40d trans dipstick with it to get around the pipes, go to ford and buy one for a 1995-1997 f250 PSD. with a slight tweak of the mounting tab, it fits great around a factory ATS style turbo pipes.

If you need a long dipstick and tube. Take a look at a 4R100 from a Super Duty.

The dealer should have them on the shelf.

No. E4 and 4R uses a different tube design.

I bought one for a F350 E4OD, the damn short one you can't reach with out a 2 Ft. step stool, cost was $65 for about an 18" of S shape tube. Funny part was I didn't need it, found the old original one.

The 4R part for a Super Duty is long. I don't think there is a longer one.
