Are crew cab door panels interchangable?

I know I'm digging up an old one here, but I've searched all over for the rear door panels off of a newer crew cab to no avail; so instead of going that route, I just made some new door handles for the existing door panels. My 5 year old daughter managed to destroy the last handle/arm rest in the back of mine, and now that I have new weatherstripping on the rear doors, the kids didn't have anything to pull on to get the door to close all the way. There's not a lot of these old crew cabs left out there, but for those who have them, this is an option. Everyone I have ever seen had the handles either ripped clean off or seriously mangled.

I took the door panel off, bolted a piece of 1/4" x 2" aluminum to the door where the handle sits, then put the door panel back on, eyeballed the location of the new handles, and drilled / tapped through the 1/4" x 2" aluminum and door skin. Bolted the new door handles on and was good to go. Took about 2 hours including making the new handles.

Holy Toledo Batman!!!! Those are great!!!! You should seriously sell those! I want a set BAD! How much?

This is an old thread so we'll see if any responses come out...

Can I swap the doors and panels from a 1994 F350 Crew Cab into my 1988 F350 Crew Cab without any interferences? Will the 88' dash have issues mating against the 94' panels?

As for the question from 88IDITurbo, I don't know for sure, but I can tell you that I have bricknose door panels on the front doors of my truck, they fit just fine. There is a line on the door panels that used to line up with the bricknose dash but doesn't line up with the bullnose dash; I thought it was going to bother me, but I really haven't noticed. I would guess the OBS panels on a brick are probably the same deal. The crew cab doors from 80-97 all physically interchange.

lol. we'll see, I haven't seen the truck or doors yet but he claims they are in good condition and the panels are completely stock with no aftermarket speakers holes, etc. cut in.

If I buy these doors and panels mine will be up for sale. Power locks all the way around and power windows in the front. XLT Lariat Red interior panels. Sheet metal is in good condition as well.
