I hear you ...

But, how often do you see yourself towing ?

I tow exclusively for business - that is why I buy duallies.

Up til now, all have been western rust free trucks.

My 94' came from Kentucky out of necessity,
not choice.

Just tow within your recommended GCWR which
you can realistically increase by re-arcing the rear leaf springs,
increasing the load rating by installing E load range tires
(if you don't already have them).

I got one of those too. Cant decide if i want to swap the rear and bed, or convert it back to a single.

in some states its not legal to haul a trailer with a bed mounted hitch on a srw truck.
