Do you think they would be damaged that fast ? The coolant made its way into the oil after I shut it off, and it hasn't been fired since. Though I did crank it over a few times to check for bubbling in the coolant .
Thats right, 6.9 does not have cavitation issues, cavitation came about when the 6.9 was bored out to 7.3 it made the cylinder walls thinner and subject to cavitation.

no they do not get damaged that fast. If it were mine I would drain the oil and all coolant, refill the oil and replace filter. Then run it a minute. Did you have water or antifreeze in it?
