one stage acrilic paint will shine and can have a deep gloss the same as clear coat in my opinion ,and nason makes a great low cost quialty products ,1 gal white ,1 pint high gloss hardener,gal med temp reducer less than 200 bucks ,if youre not a pro ,its the way to go.also with the 2 stage paint job after you paint and clear it if you break throught the clear coat when wet sanding ,it can be a mess to fix ,as with the single stage just re spray the area for any repairs and youre done ,p.s.brads correct clear coat does not peel when applied to tractors ...some of the best looking show trucks are single stage acrilic paint and if you keep it waxed it will last a century , reguards pwr stroke
