Ive seen a few that were fabed to use the cowl below the windsheild. do you have any experience with these?? was wondering would they pull enough air or would it be better to force air with say like a hood scoop plumbed or even a fender mount with a scoop to force air ?????just thinking out loud...

Air at the cowl is a low pressure zone so it will flow more easily ionto the intake, ramming air into a filter has no effect until high rates of speed. Just look at the Miata guys they done alot of testing on air filer placment mainly because of calss restrictions where ever .5hp helps.

i thought about putting mine there, but with the slave resivior for the clutch and brake booster there wasnt much room. plus it snows here pretty good in the winter and i dont wanna be suckin in snow haha. i put mine going to the front because it was the easist for me at the time and anything was better than that hookie plastic intake ducting. im gunna put a ***** hose over the end for the winter time, because i like to play in the snow and we all know these engines suck air like crazy.
