I am looking for a diagram or some pics of the vacum lines under the hood. From pump to cruise brakes and vacum canister etc. I have found for inside the truck hvac controls. But not the underhood stuff. Mine is missing and want to put it back like it should be

All of the accessories under the hood use vacuum off of the vacuum pump from the vacuum manifold above the passenger's side valve cover. Hopefully your manifold isn't damaged, I don't think it's reproduced.

The only ported vacuum our trucks have is the hose from the Vacuum Regulator Valve to the vacuum modulator on the C6 transmission.

Its all just connected then? I am trying to sort it all out. When I connect cruise servo. It goes full throttle. Even if electrical is unplugged.

With a 92 OBS truck your brakes might be hydroboost. Is there a vacuum hose running to your master cylinder? Otherwise you are correct, all the accessories use vacuum pump vacuum (there's really no manifold or ported vacuum on our trucks). Plus with a 92 you'd have an E4OD if it's an automatic. They have a Fuel Injection Pump Lever (FIPL) on the side of the Injection Pump (IP). This is 100% electronic.

Looks like as close as I can see....
From the vacuum pump to the vacuum tree, to the reservoir, to the servo, thru the servo to the dash ( trigger), hopefully it will help you out...
Ps this is from the 88 fsm, as I don't have the full set of 1993'

In case it's relevant for anyone here is Nick Pisca's diagram for the vac. manifold ports

Thanks for posting the link to Nick Pisca's webpage on that vacuum manifold. He's a member on FTE (and I thought here too). His username on FTE is genscripter.

I had Nick rebuild the VRV for my 86 F250. It was a decent price and speedy service. I highly recommend him. Thankfully, my OE vacuum manifold is in good shape. :Thumbs Up

Remember the servo has two vacuum lines going to it. One is the supply, the other one leads to under the dash and goes to a mechanical vacuum switch that bumps against the brake pedal The one that goes under the dash is a exhaust port. When you touch the brake while in cruise, besides electrically dropping the cruise out, the vacuum switch also quickly dumps the vacuum from the servo so the throttle drops back quickly.

I wonder if these two lines got mixed up. And if the dump valve and line are not correct, they can leak vacuum all the time and the cruise will never work.
