Got the Studs removed on the 2nd tire, there are 112 Studs.
Think it took hour N half to remove them. Just time consuming.

Then worked on one of the Bumpers I dragged home from PNP.
Layed it across the Wheel barrow with a piece of carpet over to
protect the chrome. Lots of dirt/rust, get it a pretty`d up and see
if I can install it today.
has a rubber piece across the lower edge, Air dam? never seen one
on these trucks before. Here is a picture of the truck.
This is the truck I got the peddle assy out of about 2 weeks back.

Boxed Oil, that`s a new one, kind of like Boxed Wine.
Looks like it has a faucet thingy on it. Wonder how much oil
you can`t get out of it?

I thought to cowboy the oil without a funnel but decided to funnel, the spout really opens up. went to Walmart expecting to get 3x gal of their brand but walked out with the rotella box wine. For just a few dollars more. It’s a little nice to not have a bunch of jugs around but I don’t have a preference. Long as it doesn’t pop or spill

Those boxes usually have .5 quart or so left in them depending on how twisted up the nozzle is coming out of the box. Usually just hang the bag and poke a hole in the corner and drain into jugs. Makes good cheap bar oil.

Took the Destudded tires to my tire guy for balance.
Tires are older than I thought, 7 yrs old. I was thinking
maybe 4, dang time fly,s.
They sat in the shop when not in use, and only used when
icy/snow, then took them off when dry. So not a lot of use.
can`t see driving on dry pavement.

Spun them, and then noticed the one rim had looked sort
of bent/high spot making the tire not run true. reset it a
couple times. also the side wall on both tires had an area
that looks where it was put together and depressed. he said
that wasn`t good and could maybe separate.

So we ordered new tires, plus my spare was 2016 date.

Today went back and loaded up the new tires, thought we
ordered 3, one for the spare, So will pick it up tomorrow.
These are Cooper Tires Discoverer HT3, LT235/85R16.
Amazing how much rubber there is on new tires....

This morning mounted the new Wiper Motor.
Then dragged out the Hotsy pressure washer, got everything
From the under side, transmission, back of engine bottom of cab,
Everything from under the front then top side etc... then had to
hit the Rain Locker to degrease me.

When I got back with the new tires, Santa stopped by in his Brown
Sleigh. There in the Driveway was a Hydro Boost, Glow Shift 3 gauge
Pillar Pod, and the Mercedes Down Pipe I dropped at one of the vendors
at Hot August Night in Reno at the Big Boy`s Toy Store. Cap,s Coating
out of Fresno, Ca. Ceramic coated it.....Pretty and Blingy.

I've seen, more like heard, people do that a lot of times. It sure seems like a waste to me. Then again, having studded tires around here seems like a waste to me as well.

I've seen brand new tires that had those types of spots too.

I replaced a shredded serpentine belt in a O'Really's parking lot a 4:30 am after a 12 hour shift. Luckily I had thrown the old on in the truck and an extra idler pulley

We're you contemplating breaking into O'Reilly's to get a new belt before you realized you had your old belt? Or did it just happen to be the first place on the right side of the road after the belt came apart?

Get some sleep before responding, 12hrs and a serpentine belt on a truck that high in the air is a long day!

I was about a block from it when it went so I limped it in there in case I needed parts. It was just dumb luck I was that close. The cool thing about this store is that it is attached to the distribution warehouse for the whole KC area so they will have what ya need

Truck only has 200k on it, California truck and has been concered in a Heavy layer of grease since I’ve had it
So there was next to 0 rust to deal with

Needle scalers work great for well scaling rust less surface rust
