Truck seems to lack power. "slow" to build boost in my opinion to what I am used to.

Checked all of the usual things (ICP, fuel pressure, up pipes, charge hoses, TPS, etc) and I've come across odd map readings.

I have a boost gauge tee'd into the MAP line going from the intake runner.

With the line disconnected I get 0psi on the gauge and 0psi on the map sensor.

Pressurizing the line with shop air to 20psi I sometimes get close to 20psi on the map sensor according to autoenginuity, other times I get 0psi or somewhere in between.

I don't get a CEL at all, zero codes when scanned with autoenginuity.

Took it for a drive, large hill on a 2 lane 55mph highway.

With or without the map connected I got about 14psi max (which is ok for stock) except it took a LONG time to get there with the pedal floored and o/d turned off going 70mph @ 3000rpm.

Floored the HPO is 2500psi and 36% duty cycle.

I tempted to order a map, except the motorcraft OEM is about $100, and I'm never a fan of throwing parts at things.

You could swap the MAP sensor from a known good working truck, or get one from the auto wreckers.
