It's a 94.5 body; I think it's a 97 engine; it's a 97 computer at least.
So...it takes forever to start; literally like 10 seconds of cranking. No fuel under it.
I'm losing fuel bowl prime.
I was going to just live with it, but I've also got no power under load; I can idle down the road in any gear but WOT doesn't really register, it'll only accelerate couple hundred more rpm.
It'll rev fine in neutral; but the second you put it in gear it's like it has no power.
At the Schrader of the fuel bowl it takes about 10 seconds to build to 8psi and that 8psi disappears as soon as you shut the truck off.
My research seems to say the fuel bowl should have 65psi; 45 under load. I can only get to 8 and I lose that 8 as soon as I shut the key off.
I put a check valve in the supply line so it can't drain backwards.
The spring behind the brass regulator plug seems plenty sturdy, no corrosion..there does seem to be a ball deep in there.
