I have a 92 f350 7.3 2wd with e40d transmission. In short, I recently removed the engine to replace all the gaskets and and other small things. Before I started the project, my transmission shifted fine and torque converter was locking up when it needed to. However now that i have everything back together, the overdrive off light is flashing on the shifter and my torque converter is not locking up at all. Is there anything I can check for that might have caused this?

Mine did that and l that was needed was to adjust something. I think it was the Fipl? Or something related to the shifting adjustment. Sorry I don’t remember for sure as it was the shop that did it and not me.

What’s the middle wire showing for voltage at idle? Is your tach hooked up? Checked fuses and grounds?

I put LEDs in the cab connected to the four solenoids. So I know what the controller is trying to do. That separates the system between transmission and control system.

@Rockovert ,

what’s your ATF fluid level at ?
,
did you change the oil ?

post a picture of your neutral safety switch, you may have the old unit

But most importantly you need to find out what code your truck is throwing since you stated the OD light is flashing
