I installed a single mass flywheel and clutch in my 7.3. When the engine gets lugged down below idle speed when taking off I get a bad vibration which goes away as soon as my RPMs reach 1000 or so. Any ideas? It runs and drives great otherwise.
If anybody has a bracket the ubolts go through on the drivers side of a balljoint dana 60 I would pay good money to have someone overnight it to me. I cant find one in my area.
Mine got got a new set of tires, a new cd player and a dana 60 up front. I was wondering if anybody had one more present for it. I need the plate the ubolts go through for the drivers side. The axle is the balljoint version. I would pay good money for someone to overnight one to me.
I just recently put in a dana 60 out of a 1995 f250 and I am missing the plate the ubolts go through for the drivers side. If anyone has one I would pay good money for it to be overnighted to me.
I recently bought a 92 f250 and it is great. But I was wondering if any of you on here had heard of Dealers Diesel out of Minnesota. The engine in my 92 is a remanufactured turbo motor built by them. I was wondering if anybody knew if there phone number. I cant seem to find it. I would like...
i was in talking to my friend who works at the parts store one day and a guy came in asking for 710 fluid. We couldnt figure out what he was talking about so we followed him outside so he could show us. He was looking at the oil cap on his car upside down. 710 - OIL
Thanks for the help guys. I finally got around to it today. Pulled off the left side and to my suprise it was the small bearing listed in the computer 15101. In confusion I pulled off the other side as well and it is a completely different set of bearings and even the the spindle looks...
Just curious if any of you know the number for the outer wheel bearing on a 1990 f250 two wheel drive. I keep going to the parts store and they show me some that are way to small and the one I have are so old the numbers have worn off or they werent there to begin with. The number they keep...

I had an old ford with a 360 and the fuel pump started pumping fuel into the block. It got bad enough at one point that their was gas bubbling out of the valve cover breather but was still running, cant beleive it didnt start on fire.
177,000 On mine and Ive probably run the thing out of fuel 20 times since I have had. The construction worker before me talked about running it out of fuel too. Somehow it survives. Yes, I know I am an idiot for running out of diesel that many times. Always starts up with about 30 seconds of...
Just found an ad and talked to the guy. 1986 F-250 6.9L With Banks Sidewinder, Rebuilt C6, 4x4, 90,000 miles. 1000$ OBO
He hit a deer with it and doesnt want to do the body work. Thinkin about buying it, what do you guys think?
Thanks for the help guys, none of these solutions sounds that appealing though. I think I will just leave it in there, I have a push button for the plugs so I havent had any problem starting. Who knows, maybe the carbon will burn off after a while and it will come out. With 177,000 miles its...
Mine drops anywhere from 300-500, depends on how hard I was on the gas before hittin the switch. Took it on its first drive to work this mornin  Mine always smokes more too when the converter is locked up so there''s another added bonus as well.
I didnt pull too hard for fear of breaking off the tip but it will come up about 3/8" after being completely unscrewed but then wont come up any farther.
Last night I was changing out my glowplugs because they were autolites that the previous owner had put in. The #3 glow plug wont pull out of its hole. I am sure the tip is swollen or bent. I tightened it back up and just left the plug off it for now. It still started up great in the morning...
With all the technology uprgrades these days I really wish that they would make a diesel with as much power as our IDI's but get really good gas mileage in a fullsize rig. I would think they could do that with a four cylinder these days. I would gladly sacrifice the speed up hills for an extra...
I was wondering how much to turn up the pump on my 7.3 to go from the derated 166 HP up to the normal 180 or 185 HP. Ive never messed with it before and any help would be appreciated. I dont want to go anymore without the turbo but I would think turning it up to what it should be would be no...
Can you guys tell me what the difference with mine is. The valve cover says that it is 166 Hp not 180 or 185. Is it a high altitude version or something?
