heres a good one for yall, tick kinda sound.

Agreed. Some people refer to it the other way so I thought I'd ask to be sure. lol Check the routing of your throttle cable. On the drivers side there is a large rubber insulator to prevent direct contact with the injector line (#8). On a stock installation there is nothing on the passenger...

    Engine swap questions

You certainly need to look for the spacer before you put any flywheel on. Are you 100% sure the old (1993) engine is a "factory" IDI turbo? The turbo may have been installed later on another engine. The serial number on the block (driver's side in front of the IP gear cover) will be...

That IS the pressure side on the Banks gen 1 & 2. The gen 1 has the intake hat and airbox cast in two seperate pieces. It has the round edges on the air box lid and uses a 3" tall air filter. The gen 2 intake hat and air box are cast as a single piece (this is the one 7.3IDI has and the...

New master cylinder...but trucks not starting :(

Please be careful as the batteries are actually connected in parallel. If they were connected in series you would have 24 volts going to the system. Parallel is + to +, series is + to - and then to the system.

Have the machine shop pressure test the head. That is the only way you're going to find out if there are any other problems. They can only tell so much if they just magnaflux it. Here's a pic of a 7.3 head that had a lot of machine work done to it by a "reputable rebuilder". Short version of...
