I couldn’t believe how smoothly it went in. The transfer case took about the same amount of time.

Those transfer cases usually aren't much of an issues as long as you can bench press it out and then back in. I've only had an issue one time doing that. It was on a one ton Chevy dually. I got it worked to the back of the transmission and I tried to bench press it down. The problem was that the stupid thing weighed A LOT more than I expected. The case was aluminum, but it felt like it was all cast iron. It fell on my arm and I couldn't get it rolled off. I had to holler at another guy and have him come over to get it off of my arm. I did use a jack to put it back.
