Zf5 lost clutch pedal

Clutch pedal has been getting softer drove it yesterday and barely had enough pedal to shift. My replacement slave/master assembly from rock auto came in today. Put it in and now have no pedal at all straight to the floor it was supposed to be a pre bled unit. Took it back out and bled it but still can’t get truck into gear. Any ideas?

If the fork is definitely on the throw out bearing and all that stuff is in good shape..... itll come down to making sure its bled..... is the pedal rod bushing good?..... is the push rod on the slave cylinder in place correctly?...... did the new slave cylinder come with a new push rod?..... if so, is it the right length?....... just throwing out ideas.....

Some model trucks have a problem with the firewall cracking where the clutch master cylinder attaches, and also with the bushings wearing out in the clutch pedal linkage. To troubleshoot, you need to first have someone pump the clutch pedal while you're closely watching the master cylinder for movement. Also grab the MC and see if you can move it from side to side.

Bushings are on the shaft that runs from the top of the clutch pedal across the steering column to the lever that drops down for the MC pushrod. The shaft has bushings on it, as does the end of the clutch MC push rod. You'll need to crawl up under the dash and be looking at everything as you're operating the pedal to watch for play, etc.

Finally, watch the throw out bearing arm while the clutch is operated to see how much movement is observed at it. Should be around 3/4" - 1", or thereabouts.
