Hey guys!

Been a while since i posted, and i need your help.

I swapped my 94 from auto to manual a couple years back and i now need to replace the input shaft seal.

Pulled trans and read a few threads on it, including the one in the tech section about the rebuild, and noticed mu ZF is a bit different.
All the threads said to remove the 2 bolts holding the release bearing tube, but mine doesn't have them.

Does this mean im gonna have to crack it open???

Here's a pic of it.

The seal is on the inside.
I believe you were looking at the small block versions with the internal slave.
Unless you cleaned it, doesn't seem to be leaking much to me. You're sure it's not the rear main? Or coming down the valley pan drain?

It's definitely leaking, i just put a brand new clutch on it and got a little bit of trans fluid on it. Rear main was done a couple weeks ago, valve covers mid last year, and valley is only 4 years old.

I've taken my share of trans apart, i was just wishing i didn't have to pull it apart. Kinda tight on time.
