ZF-5 Questions

Okay, everyone knows about my score on ZF-5's. First, where do I find a GOOD rebuild manual?
Second, I saw somewhere that a gas zf has a much lower reverse gear than the diesel ZF, can I substitute the gasser reverse without throwing the earth off it's axis?

For the gasser's reverse... You would have to swap out the mainshaft gear, countershaft gear, and remote reverse gear (thingy)... but I don't know if it can be done.

ZF's are pretty straight forward. If you have the tools to take it apart and reassemble, it wouldn't be too hard w/out a manual. Only thing you would need is all the clearances, part numbers, and specs.
