Yesterday driving to school they were fine. Left school....they went crazy. Let me demonstrate with words.

Before (Normal): Click......click......click......click......click.....click.

Now (NOT NORMAL): ClickClickClickClickClickClickClickClick.

WTH causes this? Before it was like 1flash/second, now its upwards of 5flash/second, its crazy. What do I need to look for?

Put your 4 ways on, and make sure all the bulbs are illuminating. If so, then X2 to the above. If you have a bulb out, replace it.

Alright, will go out and check all the bulbs. If a bulb is burnt out, that might cause it then?

If the flasher is bad, I recommend the Tridon part # EL12. It is still made in the USA.

The NAPA NF EL12 should be the same unit.

I still have my original one too. I can't hear it making a sound and that really bothers the wifey. I forget to turn off the blinkers sometimes... Kinda the old man syndrome condition going on here.....:angel: Oh well... It keeps em wondering what I'm gonna do driving down the road.....Teee Heee....:D

Must Be a bricknose thing cause the 89 I force had a really quiet one too. Also other than tha particular one being made in the USA what makes it better?
