i have a customers 89 F350 DRW here for me to do some work on.
the previous shop he took it to, installed the engine without the mounting plates.
there is a drivers side and a passenger side plate that bolts to the frame and accepts the engine mounts.
engine is a 96 PSD.
i have done this swap before and used the plates from an 87 IDI
the plates on a 97 PSD are the same.
as long as they are from a diesel, they will work.

send me a PM THANKS!!!

with a large enough hammer.....anything will fit.
:D

that hammer needs to be used on the owner of Spectrum Auto in Antioch California
may as well go into the hall of shame.... just in case that someone local looks.

Great pics Calvin. I have seen this pic on my rig 6 times so far. Its really interesting to me watching the motor mount bolts dropping down into those slots. They seem to be not possible but they just fit perfectly. Then the horrible reaching in to tighten the nuts that are the interference fit threads. I recall something like a 17 or 18 mm nut.
