Actually, probably not really any faster. He's got 3.55 rear and teh engine isn't going to go over 3000-3500 rpm very often, while a tire on a decently hot car running at about 140-160mph is probably going to be spinning somewhere in the same neighborhood and stick on weights are the preferred method of attachment for most modern alloy wheels, so

A tire/wheel assembly with a 21" (no idea if thats a decent ballpark figure or not, figuring 15" wheel plus 3" between the tire and the road) diameter is spinning 1600 rpm at 100 mph... 160 mph is over 2561 rpm. So 3500 is faster, but not not wayyyyyyyy faster than a tire, depending on your definition of wayyyyyyyy.

Its going to run just fine for him, atleast mine did.

The speed looks pretty fast on those welds though and the arc was pretty small but well see.. I would have probably done more than six beads also...
