So I've had a Glow shift oil pressure gauge and a pod pillar mount sitting in the garage to long and would like to start wiring gauges in. I'm going to start with the oil pressure gauge, they are all electrical and im going to abandon the factory gauges. Electrical work is not my forte, I would like the wiring to be done right. Does anyone have a good explanation of what I need to do, video or some reference? A good place to come thru the firewall? It looks like I'll need a adapter for the oil pressure sender on the turbo. Here's some pic of what I got. Thanks.

@notenuftime:
Use stranded wire of appropriate wire gauge
Try to use appropriate insulation colors (or at least different colors) for ease in future troubleshooting
Use loom or route new wires with existing wiring to prevent pinching insulation and shorts
Leave enuf wire length so devices can be removed for service without strain
Make sure all of your new wiring is fused, or downstream of existing fuses
Don't ever use scotchlock suitcase connectors or wire nuts
Solder and heat shrink connections or use heat shrink crimp connectors
Observe polarity and switch the + if you can
Write out a new wiring diagram and add it to your truck's current wiring diagram for future troubleshooting
Good Luck and Have Fun
