Will this radiator work?

I had to replace the radiator in my truck since it's impossible to clean due to the damn dimpled tubes. It was a 4 row radiator. I have been trying to get a radiator from work since I get a discount. The description says 4 row, but the unit is actually only 3 rows. I even ordered another one to make sure it wasn't mis-packaged. My boss is gonna call the manufacturer in the morning to see why the description doesn't match the product. I am expecting an answer along the lines of "we redesigned it with 3 larger tubes instead of 4 small tubes". If thats the case, will the 3 row be adequate? My 4 row was pretty plugged up and the truck wasn't overheating. I need to get my truck moving again, the mailman is getting tired of me blocking the mailbox with my trailer thats still attached to the truck.

3 core wouldnt keep mine cool enough when towing.

The new radiator is a Ready-Rad 432194, and it's supposed to be a 4 row. My boss called this morning and they said they would look into it and call him back.

They responded and said it was a design change, so it should work as well as the 4 row did. So far it's working good, hauled my empty 3200lb. flatbed back to my parents place with the A/C blasting and it ran as cool as it ever has.

I am a frim believer that alot of times just replacing the radiator is enough. It worked for me and obviously you.....although others still have overheating issues....

my bro had a diesel suburban that would start to overheat on grades, pulled the rad and it had 10 lbs of dead bugs closes off tubes by the PO caus they leaked lots of **** scale in the bottom where you can see it


put in a new one and now you can floor it up the steepest hills in the hottest weather and it never goes past 203F

I wasn't even planning on changing the radiator. My water pump bearings went out and as I was draining the coolant to change the pump I happened to look in the radiator neck and see all this crud blocking the tubes. It wasn't overheating yet, but it probably wouldn't have been much longer before it did.
