Radiator hose help

I'm trying to find or make upper and lower radiator hoses for my 1991 7.3 idi, problem lies with my radiator. The radiator goes to the 1986 7.5L Gas engine that the truck came original with. The formed ones for 7.3 don't fit.


Diameters are 2" -1 3-4" on Upper hose and 2 1/4" - 1-3/4 for the Lower.

Normally when I run into situations that require a custom rad hose, I talk the counter monkey at the local O'Really's to let me go snoop around the inventory hanging in the back. More often than not, I can find something that will work with a bit of trimming.

The other option is to swap radiators, but that seems a bit extreme.

That radiator might not be able to keep a IDI cool if you're working it.
