Wondered which diffs are in my truck? It is a 94 F250 4x4 (built in 10/93) Would really like to swap the 4.10's to something better on the rpms and mpgs!

Check the door, it should have the codes listed. Someone will chime in with the codes corresponding with the different Diffs.

Or just jack up the rear end and turn the drive shaft, and count how many times the wheels turn around.

I swapped my 4.10 for 3.55 and am liking it so far. Much better cruising rpms, and mpgs seem to much better.

The gears are 4.10's wanted to make sure about the diff. Sterling 10.25 or 10.5 or whatever. Going to shop a few online sources for gears. That is what I would like to do, go to 355 or even taller if possible

SHOULD be a 10.25" rear and a Dana 50 front (that's what the truck had factory; someone may have done a swap), but if you can take pictures of the axles, that will tell for certain.

Thanks for the info. I looked at at couple of sources online, looks like 3.55 is the tallest gear set they show...

You should be able to find junkyard axles with 3.55's for cheaper than a gear swap
