Where to get new valve sets?

I know there used to be a guy on ebay selling valve sets for our engines, and I cant find him now. I think they were even the inconnel exhaust valves. If no one knows about him or where to find him then where should I go if I have to pick up some new valves for my 6.9?

Find out what brand they are, I paid 26 bucks apiece wholesale for mine, they were sbi brand. There are some junk valves out there.

I bought a set from Diesel Direct in Florida and I read it here that Hypermax sells them. Mine had an Elgin part number EL2001 on them. They were made by Clevite in Brazil and when I asked the engineers what the material composition was they had no idea. They said they have them made out of the country and don't know whats in them. I also talked to a seller here in Northern Ca.(Alez something or other) about them. He told me to make valves in the US it requires way to much pollution control and worker protection costs are very high. Seems they have to cool the hot material in mercury which has a tendency to boil off causing all kinds of health problems. So hardly anyone will make valves in the US anymore. Ford can't get them any longer either. I tried them and they searched the entire US. Non found. Now I believe that the exhaust valves have gone the same way that the oil coolers have gone. All you can buy is the turbo oil cooler bundle now. It has more fins per inch and I feel that the exhaust valves for both the 6.9, 7.3 and turbo 7.3 all use the same inconel valves. Stellite is not what you want for a valve. It will crack easily. I realize the tips of the valves have a setllite cap thats welded on to them but not anything else. Now the exhaust seats in the heads are replaceable and they are stellite. Did I miss something???

I have like 2 boxes of stripped valves, maybe I'll just stick with good ol Ford stuff??? I know I have atleast one burnt valve in this engine because it puffs those perfect circles out the tail pipe and thats what two mechanics told me that means.

Well its not ford it is IH and the original valves will run a long time turbo or not. I ground mine before I bought new and they are HARD. You might have a bad spring or rocker also.
