I just ordered a 1\2 x 7 off the shelf stud from arp, they arent as strong as head stud material but way stronger than stock. 13 lbs of boost regularly ,so far so good. I have a price here somewhere for them.

I know Ken has them. If I were looking to build a monster IDI engine, I'd splurge on the $700 studs.
But for 15lbs, I was looking for a more economical choice.

When I tried to get them from ken he said they were having problems with some of the studs. This after I waited 6 weeks fr an answer to when they would be made. Anyway I got the 12 point nuts for mine with hard washers and the total was 550.00, with 6 point nuts it would be about 150.00 less. That is the discount price cause I am a dealer, Summit has the best prices on arp products but they couldnt get these studs for me.
