I am finally getting started on getting the diesel in my Jeep. took a little saving some money and work to get it even in the garage. Sooooo

does anybody know where i can get SS brake line to replace my steel lines. i have seen some kits but was wondering if i could just get some lengths myself and go to town. my old lines have a couple of patches and i just twisted off another fitting. since i am going down to the frame i will just address it now so i dont have to worry about it again.

You can get lengths of SS tubing at most auto parts stores.

Make sure you plan out the bends. SS doesn't like to be bent more than one time in any one place. It work hardens rather quickly. Use a tubing bender for all your bends.

Also iirc SS uses a different flaring tool than what is used for steel lines.

Stainless steel brake lines

I sent all my brake and full lines to a company in NY called Classic Tube, they copied them and put the info in their computer and made new ones out stainless steel. The lines fit perfect and cost me $450.00 and I think it was well worth it. Dan www.classictube.com
