i was going to be buying some wheels for my 1989 ford so what wheels will fit?i heard ford changed the 8 lug bolt patterns what years of ford will fit 1989?thanks

yeah 99 and up went to metric, 8x170mm... those "98" F250's... well we wont even talk about those..... some may know what I mean.

Your truck has 8X6.5 bolt pattern. I believe that GM and Dodge still use 8x6.5 all the way up to the 2011's

Ford E-series vans, actually still use, even the 2011 models, still use our old standard bolt pattern. If you can find rims off a van, they will fit.

I had been wondering about that. I pass a tire shop all the time and see a 2008 ford van with the old alcoas and center caps out side from time to time.

To the OP, any aftermarket wheels you find will fit....unless they were intended for a 99+ ford. OEM wheels from a dodge or chevy will have the same lug pattern but the center hole may be a bit too small. Most people just enlarge the hole to fit the wheels.
